CD-Rom Driver

Hi there

I've got a prob with the CD-ROM Driver module. Installed is an: Compaq CDR-168P (ide0, 0x1f0-0x1f7, 0x3f6, irq 14). Normally it is mounted via an 'uniform CD Driver'. But while the installation of Debian Linux I cannot insmod successfully any CD-ROM module. Somebody can give me a tip which module to use? (Normally the Mitsumi uniform drivers needs IO and IRQ in pairs ... how to supply this correctly with the values you can see above?)
