CDROM disappeard
Hi
I have the following error message on a Windows 2003 SBS:
Source: PlugPlayManager, ID: 12
The device "HL-DT-ST CD-ROM GCR-8486B"
(IDE\CdRomHL-DT-ST_CD-ROM_GCR-8486B_______________2.00____\5&2ac52874&0&0.0.0) disappeared from the system without first being prepared for removal.
Before this Error, there's another one, 6 times. Source: atapi, ID: 9 (The Device did not respond in time, or someting like that).
Afterwards the CDROM is neither in the equipment manager to see nor (logical-proves) in the Explorer. After a Reboot the drive assembly (mostly) is again visible. Since it was already exchanged in addition, a hardware defect can actually be excluded.
It's a HP ProLiant ML350 G4.
Does someone have an idea?
Thanks
M. Wildi
