Change one disk in a Raid 0
Hello!
I have a Proliant DL140 G2 with a RAID 0 configuration (2x160GB SATA). The second disc is in state "Prev Fail". So I'd like to chage both discs.
I purchased two 500 GB discs and I pretend to clone logical HardDrive (320 GB) to a 500 Gb disk and, then, take a RAID 1 (mirror) for the result.
Bit, if I remove the disks and configure a new array, and something fails, could I then put back the old disk and configure the old schema without losing data? Or I must to clear the disks If I want to use this in a new array?
Thanks!
