Changing UPS to non Compaq
Hi, I have two Compaq Proliant ML530's & 1 x DL320 running on a Compaq R3000 UPS with the Compaq Power Management Agents installed.
We are now installing a new APC UPS with Share-UPS panels and going to be using the PowerChute+ softwae that comes with the UPS.
I am looking for advice on how to uninstall the Compaq Power Management Agents in order to ensure that no complficts occur during the new software setup. I cannot seem to see a way of removing only the Power Managment Agent?

Re: Changing UPS to non Compaq
Hello,
Unfortunately you cannot just remove Power Management Agents. Remove all of them and then when you reninstall then pick and choose as to which ones would you like to have. That's the only time you can omit the ones you dont want. If you need further assistance please contact Tech Support at 1-800-OK-COMPAQ
