I have several DL360 G2s and DL380 G3s, and sometimes they crash (gasp). Currently I'm running Windows 2000 SP3. When they crash the Proliant agents are nice enough to record the stop code in the IML and notify Insight Manager 7, and then the servers appear with an orange hardware icon.
The only way I've found to clear the orange icon is to go into ILO and clear the entire IML log and then wait a day or longer for IM7 to update.
I hate loosing the IML log, and would like to find a way I can 'acknowledge' the error in IM7 so that the icon goes green, assuming there are no other error conditions.
Is this possible? If not, how can I speed up IM7 sensing that the IML has cleared and reset the icon state?

Re: Clear IML events?
I looked around in the agent web page and couldn't find where to clear events. I'll check out the start -> program option in the morning and see what it does.
