Clearing Post Errors
We use an image to build Compaq ML370 G1 systems in a manufacturing environment. In NT's event viewer we get the following warning:
Compq System Information Agent: Compaq Health: Post Errors were detected. One or more Power-On-Self-Test errors were detected during server startup.
[SNMP TRAP: 6027 in CPQHLTH.MIB]
Clearing the Compaq log doesn't clear this error in NT Viewer and we don't observe any errors during the initial system boot. Any information on what this error means and how to clear it is greatly appreciated. Thanks much.

Re: Clearing Post Errors
The error is informational and should not functionally impair the server's performance. Also check for cabling connection. Hope this will help.

Re: Clearing Post Errors
We have a similar error message but on a ML370 G2 on NT, and the event error is Error 1123 - Technet describes this as a Mismatch between the floppy disk sector ID field and the floppy disk controller track address.
Is it possibly the post trying to access a blank floppy drive, or a lose floppy drive cable ?
