Clustering

We are planning to implement clustering for the first time with Win2K, and this may be a stupid question, but if two windows 2k servers are attached to the same external storage system and clustering is NOT installed, will they both be able to share a volume?

Probably not - the clustering software manages the sharing of the storage.

No, you will not be able to share them. You may only attach them to one server. The other one will see them as unavailable.
