Compaq FC, part# 401918-001, oem by Emulex as LP7000E-N1

Use Emulex firmware, BootBIOS and win2k driver. During install Win2K, supply driver in Floppy disk when win2k asking. win 2k can recongize storageworks 4100 and can install into the existing logical drive(5 HDs of 12). Evrything seems fine but ACU report error on the 4100 controller that It cannot be configure. Then I cannot create/modify the array in storageworks 4100. Emulex replied that the FC needed Compaq Firmware. But I cannot find the right one in Compaq WebSite or smartstart v5.5. Can you help me out, please?

Thank you! However, it is for KGPSA-BC and my HBA is KGPSA-BY. Do you think they are match?

Does the 4100 have redundant controllers ? If the system can't access the 2nd controller then it doesn't let you configure it.

Hi Martin, thanks for your reply.
The LP700 toasted, error comes out when downloading the firmware into it. Then it hanged the system after reboot. I changed to another HBA which is Compaq storageworks 64-bit/66 Mhz Fiber host bus adapter.
Now, I can see more options after I boot into SmartStart 5.5
The RA4100 come with one controller and I brought another RA4100 controller which I don't know it is redundancy or not, put into it. Boot SmartStart and ACU report error saying that either both FC array controller in active mode or in standby mode and ACU cannot configure the controller. Should I set the jumper on the controller or download a redundancy firmware into it?
Any Idea?
