Compaq proliant 1600

Hi,
I have a some old Compaq proliant 1600. Just wondering if they support Windows 2003 server. If it does, does someone know easy way to use Smart Start CD to install Windows 2003 or any alternative way. I have smartstart 5.20, 5.50, 6.40 & 7.1 etc.

Hi,

Problem is fixed now. I had a basic issue in terms of installing windows 2003 with old smart start. Somehow got it fixed with non recommended way. Anyway, the thread link you specified was very useful too.
