Compaq Proliant 1850R
I have an older 1850R. I've racked it and then attempted to power it on(mistake, I know now).
Anyway, I get the standby orange light, but when I push the button in to power it on, nothing happens.
I have replaced the power switch with one that I know works properly, same result. I only have the orange light, showing power is connected.
She won't power on.
Anybody ever have this problem?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Brian

Re: Compaq Proliant 1850R
Hi,
Try to do two things on the same server:
1)clear the NVRAM for the server then check again.
SW1 switch no 6 make it on to clear the nvram.
2)boot the server without processor or memory and see any beeps you get.
