Compaq Proliant 800 Parallel Port not working
Need some help on testing this port out with SCO Unix Openserver 5.0.5. Are there any diagnostic programs avaiable?

You can do some loopback testing with the System Inspect and Diagnostics Diskette:

Thanks for the response. I recalled a week or so ago the system upon boot up had a hickup and wanted to know what software it was using. I answered SCO Unix and thought nothing of it. Upon tickering with it yesterday I hit the F9 key that keep popping up on start up and went thru the configuration again and printed off the diagnostic reports with no problem. Rebooted to Unix and problem still persisted until added the parallel port back in with mkdev parallel.
I'm up and going. Craig
