Constant beeping noise

I am getting a consistant beeping noise that seems to come from the area of the hard drives, but I'm not gettibf any error indicator lights. The noise is ver similar to a stuck key on the keyboard. I've tried rebooting, but it still hasn't resolved the issue.

Re: Constant beeping noise

Disconnect keyboard, mouse cables, remove all scsi devices from unit system board and then power the unit up to verify that the beeps still exist. Can it be Identified if the beeps are number of short beeps and long beeps?

Re: Constant beeping noise

It isn't just a problem with the ProLiant.

My work computer (DeskPro) does the same thing when I try to use a third-party keyboard with a Synaptics touchpad. Strangely enough, a third-party keyboard (by the same manufacturer) without the touchpad still produces the same stuck key beeping BUT only A) during startup AND B) when the mouse is moved. This would lead me to believe that something is up with the mouse or mouse settings.

I also don't believe that it is the fault of the keyboard given that it works fine on my Presario at home.

There are no SCSI devices attached. Both the mouse and keyboard have been checked for looseness.
