controller error

At night (2200) when the backup starts a SCSI port / controller error occurs. Eventviewer (OS=NT4)gives the following message: EventID: 11, Source: cpq32fs2, Description: the driver detected a controller error on \Device\ScsiPort4.
In ArcServe 6.5 two errors are logged: "E6300 Windows NT SCSI port error" AND "Unable to write to media (MEDIA=, EC=Hardware Error)". An external compagny already replaced the DLT-unit, SCSI interface cable and the systembord. Can this be resolved by Flashing ROM or using a SP? Have another suggestion?

Re: controller error

Hello Sir William,
Please update the System ROM, System Configuration and Support Paq for NT or you can use SymBios driver instead of CPQ32fs2 driver. If you need further assistance please feel free to contact Technical Support at 1-800-OK-COMPAQ.
