cqmghost.exe uses cpu

I acutally have two questions.
First:I found a post from 2005 concerning this problem but the version the person was on is older than mine.

I have a ML370 G3 running on a Windows 2003 Standard that the cqmghost.exe file will start to use up the cpu; the version I am on is 7.50.00.

Is there a new firmware update that will fix this problem without having to do reboots?

Second: With all the updates listed, how can you tell which ones to take and which ones to leave. Is there a software that will examine your system and say "You need this update". I have been burned before by downloading the wrong one.

Thank you
Tixx

Re: cqmghost.exe uses cpu

I am not sure if it is or not. How can I check.

I had a company configure the server and then they they did not explain things so I am having to learn everything about it.

Forgive my ingorance.

Re: cqmghost.exe uses cpu

VCA is Version Control Agent, it refere to central VCRM(Usaly it HP SIM),in this repository every EXE for firmware, driver and utility is in it, VCA shows you what you have install and what you need to upgrade.

You can see this windows for VCA in the home page manegement.
