Creating Sysprep-Image for DL380 G5
Hi All!
I created a Windows Server 2003 sysprep image to install several HP DL380 G4-Servers.
Now I would like to install our brand new DL380 G5 servers similarly.
Unfortunately some hardware devices changed. I prepared the old image with the new SCSI-Raid driver. But the new image will not boot.
So I prepared a new server with a completely new installation (SmartStart->Windows 2k3 -> additional drivers and old drivers of the previous image).
This new image works perfectly with the new hardware. But on our old G4 servers the image will not install.
Windows does not find some fundamental drivers (I suspect chipset drivers, as the disc drivers are all complete). Boot-Messages are not avaiable as the error occurs very early in the sysprep-stage.
So my question is:
Which drivers do I have to integrate into the sysprep stage? Could you please name the drivers that are needed for an initial boot for Revision G4 and G5? Please specify the windows driver name if possible.
Thank you very much,
Christian
BTW: Server-Part-Nr:
G4: 378736-421
G5: 417453-421
