DAT tape drive on DL120G5

Hi,

Is it possible to have a DAT (or DLT) tape drive on HP Proliant DL120 G5 (ref 470064-762) ?

On the web site (section accessories) I can select tape drive, but on 1U rack server is it possible ?

Hi, there are tape solutions available, see link, tape solutions are about half way down.

These are external units as there is only provision in the 120 for a DVD-RW (no space for anything else). Any suitable HBA would allow use of a SAN or direct library (or even an iSCSI solution) though.
