Dead Hard Drive on 1850 Smart Array 3200

Hello all. It's been 3 years since I have done this so correct me if I am wrong.

One hard Drive has failed on my 1850R with a Smart Array 3200.
Raid 5, 4 18.2 GB 10,00RPM Ultra 2's

I have a replacement drive. I believe all I have to do is power down the server replace the Hard Drive and the Array controller should be able to build the new hard Drive?

Is there some documentation someone can point me to so that I can read up on the procedure of replacing a failed hard Drive?
Of course I will perform a full backup before I do this. The server is running Our Oracle Database.

Actually a power down is not required. Because you've got hot plug drives you can pull a dead drive and then insert a replacement drive. The Smart controller will detect this and automatically start to rebuild the drive.

Awesome! How nice.
Thank You so much.

I'll still do a full backup before I do that.

With my luck I'll replace the Hard Drive and I'll get the blue screen of death.
