Disable Smart Array
What must I do to disable Smart Array embedded on Proliant DL360 G4?
I need to do this, because I'm trying to use iSCSI HBA to make remote boot using Nas Server.
Environment:
Proliant DL360 G4
iSCSI HBA QLogic 4010C
Nas Server Netapp FAS960C

Re: Disable Smart Array
Hi Marcos,
I'm not positive it can be disabled, however if it could be, I can assure it would be in the BIOS (F9 after the controllers initialize).
If you are trying to get it to boot using a different controller, you could simply go into the BIOS and change the boot controller order and just make the HBA before the embedded card.
The BIOS will have options for boot order and boot controller order, you want to change the boot controller order.
Hope this is what you were looking for!
Chris
