DL 180 (456831-371) and E200

Hi,

I have a DL 180 with E200 with 128MB BBUC and need to connect 6 1TB SATA drives to it. Currently 4 are attached to the onboard ports.

Could someone pls tell me what cable I need for this & what RAID levels are supported ?

I plan to use the server for Hyper-V

Hello,

NOTE: If selecting more than 4 hard drives a Smart Array controller and two SAS/SATA cables (P/N 453255-B21) are required.

Windows 2008 Hyper-V does not seem to be supported.
The Windows 2008 R2 Hyper-V is Supported, certification pending.
