DL 360 G3 PC2100 Memory into DL 580 G2 (PC1600)

Hi, i have one quick question regarding compatibility. I have some PC2100 in stock that we took out from a DL 360 G3. They are PC2100 DIMMs. We want to use that memory on a DL 580 G2 Server, that uses PC1600 Memory. Would that work? Are they compatible? I know that they would not run at 2100 Speeds, but im ok with that.

Tks

HP - Compaq ProLiant DL360 G3 takes DDR PC2100 ├в ┬в CL=2.5 ├в ┬в REGISTERED ├в ┬в ECC ├в ┬в DDR266 ├в ┬в 2.5V ├в ┬в 256Meg x 72

ProLiant DL580 G2 takes DDR PC2100 ├в ┬в CL=2.5 ├в ┬в REGISTERED ├в ┬в ECC ├в ┬в DDR266 ├в ┬в 2.5V ├в ┬в 256Meg x 72

Looks like you had the wrong memory in the 580 according to my reference. No matter the answer is yes, they both take DDR memory so you can use it, even mixed with the PC1600

its saids that the 580 G2 runs with DDR PC1600.
