DL 380 G5 Admin password in RBSU
Are there any restrictions on the characters that can be used for this password?
Such as ]_@:^}(
I cannot find anything in the documentation that says if there is or not.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: DL 380 G5 Admin password in RBSU
Karlo,
Thanks! This is out of the RSBU user guide.
"The Set Admin Password option is a simple character string with a maximum of seven characters."
What is the definition of a simple character string? I would guess ONLY numbers and letters to include both upper and lower.
Your thoughts?

yes I agreed with you
""I would guess ONLY numbers and letters to include both upper and lower.""
long time ago I think I tried something different than numbers and letters and password did not work
