DL 580 G4 - Network Problems after installing additional CPUs
No we´re going live with a new application and we added two additional Processors.
This is where the crazy things happen:
The system is recognizing the two new CPUs, CPU Test is ok.
Starting up Win2003 R2 Enterprise is painfully slow from the point "starting up network connections".
After the logon it is still slow.
It is possible to ping any target in the LAN oder Internet, but no access (Browser, File, Ftp) is possible.
Also there is no possibility to access the server from other clients.
At the moment the NICs are teamed with a static IP.
This behavior stays no matter if i unteam them, get other Ips or even dissable one of the connections.
I also crosschecked the Backbone Switch and the wiring.
Software, Bios and Drivers are the latest ones.
Really strange is, when i remove the additional CPUs everything goes back to normal.
Any ideas, suggestions?

Re: DL 580 G4 - Network Problems after installing additional CPUs
I solved the issue by rolling back the network management software.
I have absolutely no clue, but crosschecked it to be sure.
If I upgrade the network management software, the issue is the same.
