DL140 G2 && HP 8 Internal Port SAS HBA with RAID && Debian 3.1

Hi.
I'd like to by DL 140 G2 server with this device: http://h41306.www4.hp.com/item/347786-B21

I'd like to know does it possible to install Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 (sarge) on this server ? I'd like to have two SATA HDD in RAID1. AFAIK controller is based on Fusion MPT technology. kernel 2.6.8 seemt support some Fusion MPT device, but will this contoller works out-of-the-box on sarge?
