We have a DL145 G2 running Windows2003 R2 STD which detected controller error(from event viewer the error type : EventID: 11) and found that updating raid controller firmware to its latest will fixed the issue.
From HP support Document:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c00828623тМй=en&cc=us&taskId=101&prodSeriesId=428936&prodTypeId=15351
SInce the box is under critical production and my concern, is there any impact or any possible data lost or do we need to reconfigure the raid after the NEW Firmware is loaded?

Thanks in advance

hi
""is there any impact or any possible data lost or do we need to reconfigure the raid after the NEW Firmware is loaded?""
- you just need to reboot your server and apply the update
- no need to reconfigure RAID again
- no DATA lost at all
so no worries just update your firmware and that's all
regards
