Hi All,
I have been facing strange issue. one of my DL160 G6 server product name is changed as DL180 G6. I don't know why saying it's DL180 G6.
i have tried to reflashed the BIOS and updated the BIOS. still it's saying DL180 G6.
Could pls help me out to fix this issue.

SolutionI don't know if it uses the product/device ID to show the model during boot or in the management tools, but it might. If that product ID got changed, I don't know if a BIOS flash would have done that. If you clear the NVRAM it would simply leave the serial and device ID fields blank, I think, so I don't know.
It's worth checking out for sure.

Thanks for the reply Waaronb.
I have just cleared the NVram and restarted the server. then Server rebuilded itself and it's came up with original settings.
Product name also changed as DL160 G6.
