DL320 G6 with P410 Array controller battery failure
I have a DL320 G6 with a p410 array controller, 1 146 GB SAS drive and 3 1TB SAS drives.
When I connect the mini sas to mini sas cable between the p410 and the HD backplane, I get the followin error.
1748 Drive array unsupported arra accelerator battery. Please install battery pack(s) with correct part number. Array accelerator is disabled.
If I remove the cable I don't receive the error, but then the controller can't communicate with the HD's
I have tried 2 different p410 controllers and have had the same error on both.
The System BIOS is W07 (7/24/2009) and the firmware on the p410 controller is Ver.2.50.
Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions?

Re: DL320 G6 with P410 Array controller battery failure
I'm being told by tech support that I have a bad battery. They are sending me a new one, which I should get later today or tomorrow. I'll let you know if that fixes my problem.
Check the date codes on the batteries that you have and see if there is a difference between the ones that work and the one that doesn't.
