DL360 G5 RAID configuration
Hey there
I have a HP DL360 G5 and have been wanting to upgrade it, done dual quad CPU’s and RAM etc.
I now want to separate my Operating System and Data. The plan is to have the Operating System (server 2003 standard R2) on 2 disks RAID 1 (mirror) and my data on another RAID 1 set of disks. The controller is a Smart Array P400i.
Will the following work?
Operating System - 2x 32GB SAS RAID 1
Data – 2x 72GB SAS RAID 1
Thanks,
Ryan

Re: DL360 G5 RAID configuration
sure, you can set it up like that.
Use ACU to create the two arrays and then a logical drive in each array.
