DL360 G5 Raid Setup
Hi All,
how would i configure the array in a DL360 G5 server with 4 72GB drives, requirement being 2 RAID 1 sets (set 1 and 2 both contain 2 x 72Gb drives mirrored).
Basically if I lost one drive in each array, the server would still run.
Thanks in advance.

Re: DL360 G5 Raid Setup
You are in the hp-ux area, but you don't use hp-ux for sure.
You did not tell what you want to run on your proliant.
Anyway, boot the smartstart CD and configure your array.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: DL360 G5 Raid Setup
Shalom,
If this server has the P400 smart raid card installed, you can interrupt the boot and set up raid with te bio based utility.
The prompt is obvious, probably F8 at the console and the utility is very straightforward.
