DL360 G5 Riser Card PCI-E to PCI-X

I have a DL360 G5 with the standard riser containing two PCI-E slots (one full-length and one low-profile). I need to keep the full-length and replace the low-profile side with a PCI-X adapter. Does anyone know the HP part number for the adapter that fits this riser with an x8 PCI-E male plug and a PCI-X female port for the card? I want to unscrew the existing adapter from the riser and replace with this new adapter.

Thanks!

According to the quickspecs, the PCIe/PCI-X combo riser card has the low profile PCIe slot and a full length/full height PCI-X slot. I think this is the opposite of what you want to do.

Riser cards are not standard and I don't think you will find what you are looking for.

(scroll down to "Expansion Slots")

The HP PCI-x riser part number is 405154-B21 and is at the bottom of the processor list here: http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quicKspecs/12476_div/12476_div.HTML#Core%20Options

What exactly are you trying to do? What adapters do you want use in the PCIe and PCI-x slots?

Re: DL360 G5 Riser Card PCI-E to PCI-X

Thanks for the response. I have two HBAs that I am trying to put into this server. One is a full-height PCI-E and the other is a low-profile PCI-X. The low-profile PCI-X is the one that I am trying to put on the low-profile side of the riser. I just need the correct adapter in the riser. I've looked at the 405154-B21 riser but as you mentioned it is the reverse of what I need. I don't need another full riser, just the adapter. The ones I can see online don't have enough details for me to determine if it will work. For example, the 436912-001 is a PCI-X adapter that works with this server, but does it fit into the PCI-E x8 slot on the motherboard, or is it designed for the other, longer slot? I need to find the correct PCI-X adapter that will fit into the PCI-E x8 slot on the motherboard. Then I can screw it into the riser I already have.

Thanks!
