DL360 G6 Over Temp Error

I have a DL360 G6 that keeps power cycling itself shortly after the Proliant screen shows up. I checked the SID and the "over temp" lights up amber and then 5 seconds later power cycles itself.

Does anyone have any ideas? I have tried resetting the CMOS and that did not do anything.

Hi,

What about the fans, are they spinning?
Check air baffle.
Fan blank, Install fan 2 only when processor 2 is installed. When only one processor is installed, always install the fan blank.

Thanks

Yeah, I've tried re-seating everything. Only 1 CPU and that fan bank 2 is missing but I have another box that is the same setup and I've had no issues with that one. I got HP to send me a replacement system board, I hope that does the trick!

What does the ILO errorlog / IML log say ?

If it say something like "faild' on read of some area's, you may heve defective sensors on the SBO. I also seen some 360G6 go powercycle'ing and fail on all sensors due to a faulty risercard.
