DL360 G7 -> Smart Array p222 controller high temperature
Hello
HP Proliant DL360 G7 Failed RAID Controller. The external Int/1-port Ext SAS RAID Smart Array P222/512MB FBWC 6Gb 1-port controler was installed.
When using there was a problem – temperature of the controler of 99 °C. Thus other indicators of temperature in the server are close to the comfortable. After providing the additional cooling streams, temperature of the controler fell to 95 °C, and doesn't fall below.
Answer please, whether such operating mode is standard for the controler? In the description no data on temperature condition are present. Whether is temperature a sign of malfunction of the controler?
And
Cashe module temperature 37°C
Capacitor temperature 21°C

Re: DL360 G7 -> Smart Array p222 controller high temperature
Hello,
Try swapping this card onto another server and check if the issue follows the card. In case another working card is available, try it in this server and check if the issue resolves.

Vijayasarathy

Re: DL360 G7 -> Smart Array p222 controller high temperature
Unfortunately, the server now in work and to replace the controler there is no opportunity.
Is possible to make in this case a complaint to firm which carried out installation of the controler?
