DL360: Keyboard and mouse not responding

Hi,
I have DL360 G4 as domain server. It was working happily till i pressed one lousy analog type KVM button to switch server. My keyboard and mouse (PS2) are now not responding. I have to use USB to PS2 adaptor now.
My question is, how can i make sure that the PS2 ports for keyboard and mouse are really dead and have to be replaced?

First, reseat the keyboard and ps2 mouse to see it help.
Second, You may still use the basic tools in Control panel to diagnose keyboard and mouse.
