DL360G2 DOA!!
Help!
I have a dl360g2 that will not boot up. It gets as far as initializing the 5i controller, and the two logical drives, then just sits there, going no further. Server has been operating without issues, nothing reported in HPSIM that would have alerted me to potential problems. Just won't boot up today. It is running Windows 2003 server and is configured with two RAID 1+0, 73G drives.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Kelly

Re: DL360G2 DOA!!
Kelly,
have you had a look at the troubleshooting guides at:
http://docs.hp.com/en/hw.html#ProLiant%20DL360%20Generation%203%20Server
The diagnostic flowcharts had helped me a lot in the past.

Re: DL360G2 DOA!!
Thank you Peter, that did help and I've bookmarked it for future reference. I ran diagnostics on the server and if found no problems. BUT, I reseated the hard drives and viola! Server booted up just fine. Not sure why but as long as it's running, I'm not going to question it right now!
Thanks for the assistance!

Re: DL360G2 DOA!!
Kelly,
great to hear that the system is ok now. I support your conclusion to leave it alone as long as it is working!
Could you please read:

and then close the thread with your solution.
