DL360G5 do not see drives 3,4

DL360 G5 with Smart Array 400i/256 controller
4 SATA 120Gb Drives installed in trays 1,2,3,4
Only two drives -- in trays 1,2 are seen.
Other two have amber lights on.
All four HDDs are in working condition, changing HDDs 3,4 to 1,2 result the same -- only HDDs in trays 1,2 are seen.

Need Help...
Cable ? Controller ? Backpane ?

what do you mean by "are seen"? you have OS installed?

you mean in array configuration utility? only 2 of 4? right?

I suppose you're talking about the 4 bays below
not the ones above?

No OS installed. Of course, I ve talked about 4 drives below :)

Raid Configuration Utility "sees" only drives in bays 1 and 2.
3 and 4 have amber lights on. Changed drives 3,4 to 1,2 -- result the same, drives in 3,4 are "invisible"

Then it may be the backplane :)

But the P400i has 2 ports. Which one leads to which port of the backplane?

Cable is connected -- controller 1-4 to 1-4 on the backpane.
