Re: DL360P Fan speed 94%
This could be the well known NAND issue.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: DL360P Fan speed 94%
Hi,
While updating the iLO firmware, please make sure to update even the BIOS as these 2 components are interdependent.
These 2 components being in different versions may lead to incorrect reporting of the hardware component status.

Re: DL360P Fan speed 94%
Hi, thanks for your response, yesterdey i updated the ILO version firmware to 2.70, no change, only when the room is under 13 celcius degrees it's when the speed slow down to 29% but if the room warm up to 15 (this ambiental temperature is read by the sensor of this server in particular and the other HP server in the same rack), the fans speeds up. The version of the BIOS it's P71 with date 05/21/2018
Doing some research on internet i found this link where the author shows up a table with many HDD Non-HP, and listed as no compatible with HP servers, it's that true? (as a non-HP offical source of information i can't assume as true without ask ).

Re: DL360P Fan speed 94%
There are so many variables, there is no way to essily answer your query. What generation DL360 is this?
What does iLO show for temperatures on other sensors in the system?
How many CPU's and what speed?
How much memory?
How many hard drives?
What kind of workload is on the system.
It isn't easy to compare to another server that may be configured differently in the same rack. Using non HPE branded drives can cause issues if the sensors cannot read the drive temps properly. Since dropping ambient a few degrees makes everything happy again, you need to try to isolate what sensor in the system is running hot

Re: DL360P Fan speed 94%
DL360P is Gen8, the "p" and "e" is unique to Gen8.
Consider to post screenshots of ILOs Diagnoszics and Thermal Map screen.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: DL360P Fan speed 94%
In deed it's a GEN 8, i saw yesterday the sensor 12-HDMAX with 48 °C, sensor 01-Inlet Ambient with 16-17 °C (94% fan speed), today sensor 12-HDMAX with 47 °C and sensor 01-Inlet Ambient with 14 °C (57% fan speed increasings).

Re: DL360P Fan speed 94%
It is obviously not the NAND issue.
Hope this helps!

Re: DL360P Fan speed 94%
Trosten, doing some research, you share this link, for a DL380, but my DL360p have the p420i smart controller installed, maybe this have a relationship? and this is a normal function.
