DL370 G6 Config Issue
Hi,
I have a DL370 G6 Performance, with the P410i/512MB BBWC Module. I also have the 2 Bay LFF Drive Cage and the 6 Bay LFF Drive Cage.
I cannot see anywhere to connect these to the Motherboard. I have 4 Cables to connect but from what I can see only 2 connections.
Thanks
Dave

Re: DL370 G6 Config Issue
Thanks for the response. It's the Cables to connect the Drive Cages to the Motherboard.
According to the Quickspecs you only need the SAS Expander Card when adding a 2nd SFF Drive Cage. The SFF Drive Cage will be removed and replaced with the LFF Drive Cage. The 2 Drive LFF Cage will sit in the Media Bay.

Re: DL370 G6 Config Issue
its not possible. if u have more then one cage with 2 SAS connectors u will need the expander card. all smart array controllers from HP can handle only 2 SAS connections. else u need the expander card
