DL380 G3/G4/G5 - Sector 32 / 63?
I am trying to install a boot manager that requires the hard drive architecture to be that so the primary partition starts at sector 63 (usually the first cylinder boundry).
Most of the servers I am trying to install to (a G3, 2 G4's and a G5) the primary partition starts at sector 32. Is there a way to "fix" this, a specific program to do this?
I tried moving the primary partition so that I would have a few MB's freeing up several sectors. The boot manager was able to install but the system hangs. So I need the primary partition to start at sector 63.
Please help
