DL380 G3 Processor Stepping
Hi I have a DL380 G3 which has a problem it has 4 Intel Xeon 3.06ghz processors but 2 are stepping 5 and the others stepping 9 ?
x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 5 GenuineIntel ~3052Mhz
x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 9 GenuineIntel ~3052Mhz
Is there anyway to flash update these ? Its running smartstart 7.91 and also had firmware updated to 7.91 but they dont update the stepping revision ?
Thanks in advance

Re: DL380 G3 Processor Stepping
what you need to do is flash/update your System BIOS
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=316529&prodNameId=3288130&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-UNITY-I21952
and If I am not wrong put Proc with lowest stepping in slot 1 and the higher slot 2, if not swap processors
let us know any update
regards
