I would still be interested in some more information on this subject.

The servers I inherited come up for warranty renewal next year, and I want to upgrade the level of warranty on them if possible. However, if I try to get a contact phone number for server warranty support from the HP Japan site, it isn't on there, and it just says to refer to the documentation that came with the server! Unfortunately, I am not fortunate enough to have been given any such documentation when I inherited them.

Also, we have a NAS 1000s that I would like to check up on. S/N TWM0410269. Ref number 6D43LHKB3020.

I believe it is now possible to find out the warranty on a server using the serial number via HP's ITRC website.
