DL380 G5 PPM Issue?

Seen a few posts about this issue and keep reading different answers so I'll ask here,

One of my DL380's powered off and now has two flashing red lights, the UID light and the internal health light, and then the right PPM light is solid Orange as well as the power LED

Is this a CPU/ PPM or PSU issue?

Many Thanks.

Re: DL380 G5 PPM Issue?

Hi,

It could be Power supply or PPM.  In rare cases it could be the system board slot where PPM sits.

First replace the power supply and if that does not fix then replace the ppm.

From what others have posted, the power supply part 379123-001 is old and that has to be replaced with new ones 403781-001.
