I have a Proliant DL380 G5 server with iLO2. When I logon to the iLO2 interface I can see the ambient temperature reading.
Is it possible to get the temprature reading with an snmp request ? If so, what is the correct OID ?
SNMP is configured on the server, I can walk the snmp from the server IP and from the iLO2 IP but I can't figure out what OID is the temprature.
Any help or hint is VERY welcomed.
Thanks

Re: DL380 G5 SNMP OID
Hi Yannick,
never tried this, but to find out the correct OID(s), take a mib browser and search trough cpqhealth.mib
( http://support.solarwinds.com/updates/searchmib.cfm#snmp_center.aspx )
The following OID describes a table with several temperature related entries:
.1.3.6.1.4.1.232.6.2.6.8. 1-9
Good luck :-)
regards
Markus

Re: DL380 G5 SNMP OID
The correct OID for ambient temp is : .1.3.6.1.4.1.232.6.2.6.8.1.4.0.2
Thanks to all!!!
