DL380 G6 Base System Device

I have a Proliant DL380 G6 that I installed a PCI device into and the server is not recognizing the card. I noticed in Device Manager it's showing "Base system device" without a driver. The server is running 2012 R2. I've installed the iLo drivers which I believe should have resolved this? There was also IPMI device missing a driver which the iLo install did take care of. What am I missing here?

Re: DL380 G6 Base System Device

Hi,

You are missing the Device Driver for the newly installed PCI Device.

What is that card that you have installed?

BTW you need to install two drivers for iLO.

HP ProLiant Integrated Lights-Out Management Interface Driver for Windows Server 2003/2008 (American, International)
HP ProLiant iLO 2 Management Controller Driver for Windows Server 2008 (American, International)

Also install the Chipset driver for the server.

Thank You!
