DL380 G7 no sensor data vCenter (esxi 6.0)
Got an exsi 6.0 installation on a couple of DL380 G7 servers using the HP ISO image (VMware-ESXi-6.0.0-Update3-5224934-HPE-600.10.1.0.73-Jul2017.iso) as per my post on the VMware forum (https://communities.vmware.com/thread/571410) and I am not getting any sensor data displayed in the vCenter console. Data is displayed in the vSphere client (non-web).
I though iLO might have been an issue, so upgraded from 1.86 to 1.88. I updated one of the VIBs (two were already current) from here: http://vibsdepot.hpe.com/hpe/jul2017/esxi-600-bundles/ and that changed nothing. iLO shows sensor data perfectly but that doesn't help me in vCenter. The BIOS is also current, P67
Is it a CIM that needs updating or another HPE driver, a setting in the BIOS or iLO?
I have read heaps about other people with similar issues, most of them lead nowhere, others mention making changes to vCenter - I am using the appliance.
Does anyone have any advice or information that can help. I would like to get this resolved before putting it into production.
Cheers.
