I recently bought a used HP PROLIANT DL380 GEN9 719061-B21 blade server with a Smart HBA H240ar controller. It is stuck in RAID mode and I can't find a way to get it to HBA mode.
I have tried the Smart Storage Administrator in the boot sequence. It never shows the option to change the mode to HBA.
I am wanting to move my unRAID server license and drives to the DL380 G9 server and have unRAID manage the drives.
The H240ar controller firmware is at version 5.52
How do I get this server disk controller to HBA mode?

SolutionThank you for pointing to documentation I have already reviewed. It did not solve the problem.
I have found instead a video that should be the solution but I have to build a system outside the DL380 G9 server to make the change. Still learning how to do everything - steep learning curve. Here is the link to the video with the solution to my problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiyaC6nCFrg
