Hello there
I believe that gen7, is not supported with ESXI6.5.

Re: Dl380 gen 7 esxi error

After investigating for a long time I found out if I install esxi on USB
drive it wold work but when I try to add the 1.6TB raid (0 or 5 or 1+0)
hard drives it crashes
Is it the raid controller ?
Also I tried proxmox 6.5 witch it worked like a charm and no bugs or
errors

Hello

The error message you're seeing, suggests a Page Fault (PF) error within the virtual machine environment. This typically occurs when the system tries to access a memory address that is not currently mapped.

Based on the finding it looks it's related to compatibility.

Firstly check RAID Controller Compatibility.

Then update the Firmware and drivers, if you have not updated.

Let me know if you still face the same issue.
