DL380 Gen11 : iLO page is not listing all components; can only be fixed by iloreset--
Hi All
In DL380-Gen11, we notice that in offline mode, after FW upgrade is complete using Custom SPP, all components are not getting listed. We have seen in multiple nodes, but it is not always.
The only way we discovered to fix it is to reset the ilo. Is iloreset mandatory after FW upgarde? Do we have to do it in Online mode as well?
TIA
Sud

Hi Sud,
iloreset mandatory after FW upgarde? No
Try to Update the iLO Firmware first (Alone, using iLO Web GUI, no Downtime needed).
This is the Way I do it because if SPP did the iLO Update during SPP Update, the iLO reboots, and then SPP loses the connection (sometimes).
Do we have to do it in Online mode as well? Since iLO4 I have done all the Firmware Updates Online, no more need for Offline, only one short Server Reboot.
