DL380 Gen9 iLO Config Utility Missing

Hi All, I have searched all over but cannot solve this one, so I'm hoping someone here may have some insight.

I have 3 DL380 Gen9 servers, all 3 have the iLO ports and display iLO IP addresses on the boot screen. I can access all 3 via the iLO web interface. These were purchased from a company doing liquidations so they did not come with usernames or passwords or any of that good stuff.

Two of them have an iLO Config menu on the boot screen that I was able to access and change the username/password.

The 3rd server however does NOT have the iLO Config menu option. It's an identical server according to the boot menu, same bios version, same model, etc. I have looked in all of the menus but Ai cannot find a config utility for the iLO.
Can anyone help me figure out how to get into it?

Thanks!

Re: DL380 Gen9 iLO Config Utility Missing

Hello,

You may clear the server's CMOS and see if that helps. You may refer to the item denoted by 'X' on page 93, section "System board components" of the HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen9 Server's Maintenance and Service Guide to identify the location of system maintenance switch.

Once identified, power off the server, remove the power cables from the power supplies, remove the access panel, identify the system maintenance on the system board and toggle switch 6 from its default position of 'Off' to 'On'. Then replace the access panel, connect the power cables to the power supply and power on the server.

When a message to the effect informing you that one or more of the a system maintenance switch has been set to on position and needs to be turned off, then power off the server, remove the power cables and reverse switch 6's position to default 'Off' and then replace the access panel and power on the server. Hope it helps.
