Re: DL380 Gen9 System board
Hi,
According to the PartSurfer, this part is used on multiple models of servers.
According to the QuickSpecs, if using v4 processor, they may require high performance heatsinks and some other limitations apply.
Thank You!

Re: DL380 Gen9 System board
But how can I confirm if this supports v4 processor since the system board doesn't thave any of the following tags and P02757-001 doesn't list the supported processors on PartSurfer.
775400-001 - For Intel Xeon E5-2600 series v3 (Haswell)
843307-001 - For Intel Xeon E5-2600 series v3 (Haswell) and v4 (Broadwell) processors.
P02757-001 - System I/O board (motherboard) assembly used in DL360 and DL380 Gen9 servers

Re: DL380 Gen9 System board
@ghuman1398 : I have that motherboard in a DL360 Gen9 and it's currently using dual E5-2630 v4. I was also looking for detailed specs on this motherboard, specifically if it's supporting v3. From your question, I understand that you are currently using a v3 CPU?
Thanks!

I am also quite confused about the differences between
843307-001 and P02757-001
any noticeable difference between the two?

Hi,
Both the parts are for same model server, I presume, some part number is available in some region and the other isnt.
If you see the PartSurfer for 843307-001, then P02757-001 is the Functional Equivalent.
Thank You!

Thank you for checking!
I made a mistake in my question. I originally meant to ask about the differences between 775400-001 and P02757-001.
From what I have researched on the internet, I concluded that:
775400-001 is a Haswell-supported version of the mainboard.
P02757-001 is a Haswell and Broadwell-supported version of the mainboard.
