DL380G7 Windows2003 hangs after console login

Hello all together,

we have a strange problem with our new Dl380G7 Server (8GB RAM, Windows2003 Server Enterprise, CitrixXenApp).:

Sometimes when I want to login directly at the console the display gets black and stays black, and the network connection gets lost (the citrix sessions get no response and you cannot login remotely anymore).

After 30 seconds or so the display of the server slowly appears again and the network connection comes back

(the citrix sessions stay online, so the network error cannot be very long).

But sometimes the server doesn't comes back and have to be rebooted!

This only happens when I try to login directly at the server (when I make a console-login remotely with mstsc.exe /console the error doesn't occur at all). I allready changed mouse and keyboards to eliminate this error source (tried also via a kvm-switch).

I cannot find any errors in any log (nor windows-logs nor HP management logs)

The drivers of the Broadcom 1GB Network is up to date (driver 6.0.32,VBD Driver 6.0.22, Bootcode version 5.2.3).

Does anybody have seen this error too?

Hey, long-shot but is Windows updated? Maybe there is a fix for this.

Is accessing it via iLO causing the same problem?

Windows is uptodate.

I don't use ILO, so I can't test this.
