DL380p DL380e Gen8 front drive cage assembly compatability

Hello HPE community,

Can the front cage assembly of a DL380p Gen8 8 SFF be removed and replaced with the front cage assembly of a DL380e Gen8 12 LFF 668307-001 684886-001

Then replace the P420i that is in the DL380p Gen8 with two H220 HBA's.

Hi,

As far as I know its not possible, the reason being Size/Width of the cage assembly will not match hence the part numbers are different for both the servers.

Based on Spare Parts list of DL380p Gen8 and DL380e Gen8 Server, the front drive cage assembly having different part number.
